Air China offers surprisingly cheap return flights from Stockholm to Asia, starting at €302

Swedish travellers can now access reduced fares on long-haul trips to Asia with Air China’s new sale, making destinations like Thailand and Taiwan more affordable than ever, with prices starting at €302 for return tickets.

Air China is offering return fares from Stockholm to a string of Asian destinations from €302, a level that could make a long-haul trip to the region noticeably more affordable for Swedish travellers. For anyone heading to Thailand, the clearest draw is Bangkok and Phuket, with the sale also covering Chiang Mai, which could work well for a northern Thailand itinerary or a two-stop holiday combining city, beach and culture.

According to Fly4free, the fares are available on a broad range of routes, including Stockholm to Bangkok, Phuket and Chiang Mai, as well as other destinations such as Ho Chi Minh City, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Manila, Seoul, Phnom Penh, Tokyo and Osaka. The travel window runs from late August to November 2026, which gives holidaymakers some flexibility when planning an autumn escape.

The deal is being sold as a full-service option, and the published fare includes one cabin bag and one checked bag, which may appeal to travellers who do not want to build a trip from scratch around extras. That can make a real difference on a Thailand break, where many visitors return with more luggage than they left with, especially after shopping, diving gear or longer island stays.

Other travel sites covering the same sale say the lowest advertised price appears to be around €302 return, with some listings focused on Stockholm–Taipei. In practical terms, that suggests the headline fare may vary by destination and booking channel, so travellers eyeing Thailand should check whether Bangkok, Phuket or Chiang Mai dates still fit the lower end of the sale before committing. For leisure travellers, the main benefit is straightforward: a cheaper way to reach Thailand with checked baggage already included, rather than a stripped-down fare that rises once essentials are added.
