Korean Air is selling round-trip fares from Washington’s Dulles airport to Chiang Mai from US$953 including taxes, according to The Flight Deal, giving leisure travellers a lower-cost way to reach northern Thailand via Seoul. The fare is aimed at late-October to November departures, with another travel window running from late January 2027 through March 2027, though availability is limited and prices can shift quickly.

For holidaymakers, the headline attraction is not just the price, but the simplicity of the routing. The itinerary runs via Seoul and ends in Chiang Mai, which is one of Thailand’s most appealing bases for temples, night markets, cooking classes and trips into the surrounding hills.
