Ennismore prepares to introduce its design-led 25hours brand to Bangkok, aiming to capture the city’s creative energy with a new hotel in Siam Square by early 2029, enhancing its presence in Asia-Pacific.
Ennismore has signed its first hotel in Thailand, bringing the 25hours brand to Bangkok in a project that aims to tap into the energy of Siam Square, one of the capital’s busiest and most youth-driven districts. According to the company, 25hours Hotel Bangkok is due to open in the first quarter of 2029 as part of Central Pattana’s new mixed-use destination, CenTRal cENtrAL, a development intended to reshape the area around the city’s central shopping and transport hub.
The 345-room property will sit close to Chulalongkorn University and Siam Station, giving guests easy access to the BTS network as well as the surrounding retail and entertainment districts. Business Traveller reported that the site is also expected to be well placed for onward travel across Bangkok, with the Sukhumvit and Silom skytrain lines, the airport rail link and the MRT all within reach.
For travellers, the appeal will lie less in convention-scale formality and more in the brand’s signature mix of design, atmosphere and local character. Ennismore says the hotel will draw on Siam Square’s independent shops, pop-up culture, creative studios and Art Deco-influenced streetscape, with communal spaces, work areas and lounges designed to fit the neighbourhood’s restless pace. The brand has built its identity around story-led, visually distinctive hotels rather than standardised business accommodation.
Sylvain Pasdeloup, Ennismore’s chief operations officer, said in a statement that Bangkok is “a city of contrasts, creativity and constant motion” and described the hotel as a place where “culture, community and creativity come together”. Phoom Chirathivat, head of hotels and alternative investments at Central Pattana, said Siam Square has long been a place where generations of Thais have gone to “discover, connect and express themselves”, adding that the project is intended to celebrate the district’s personality while welcoming international visitors.
The opening will also extend 25hours’ presence in Asia-Pacific, where the brand already has properties in cities including Jakarta and Sydney. For visitors choosing where to stay in Bangkok, the new hotel is likely to be most appealing to those who want a lively, design-led base in the middle of the city, with shopping, university life, transport links and a fast-changing urban neighbourhood all on the doorstep.
