Phi Phi Island is drawing travellers back for the same reason it has long stood out on Thailand’s Andaman coast: striking limestone cliffs, bright water and easy access to snorkelling, diving and boat trips. According to travel coverage of the destination, the best-known pair in the archipelago are Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Leh, both of which anchor the island group’s appeal for short breaks and island-hopping itineraries.

For visitors planning a trip, the practical draw is that Phi Phi is straightforward to reach from both Phuket and Krabi, with scheduled ferries and faster speedboat options available.
