Luz Bangkok Tapas Bar introduces 'Viva La Fiesta', a new weekly Ladies’ Night featuring free bubbles and authentic Spanish small plates amid panoramic city views from Sukhumvit's skyline high-rise.
LUZ Bangkok Tapas Bar has added a new weekly draw for nightlife-seekers in Bangkok with "Viva La Fiesta: Ladies’ Night", a Wednesday evening event built around complimentary bubbles for women, Spanish small plates and a high-rise setting above Sukhumvit. The venue sits on the 33rd and 34th floors of INNSiDE by Meliá Bangkok Sukhumvit, where diners get wide skyline views and a clear-bottom infinity pool overhead adding to the sense of occasion.
The kitchen is led by Madrid-born chef Juan Ignacio García Racionero, known as Chef Nacho, whom Thai PR describes as a Spanish chef de cuisine with experience at acclaimed kitchens including Saddle and DiverXO, alongside other respected Spanish restaurants. That background helps explain why LUZ is leaning into a more distinctly Spanish identity rather than a generic rooftop bar menu.
For diners, the appeal is as much in the food as the view. The special ladies’ night menu includes tableside Huevos Rotos con Gambas al Ajillo y Caviar, a rich plate of potatoes, prawns, caviar and fried eggs, while the drinks list features Agua de Valencia and sangria served in generous measures. On the broader menu, Chef Nacho has added dishes rooted in Spanish regional cooking, including wagyu tartare with anchovies and pickles, oxtail tacos with smoked Idiazabal cheese, and squid-ink fideuà with red prawns and octopus.
The atmosphere is designed to stay lively rather than hushed: live percussionists and guest DJs keep the room moving with Spanish-modern house and tribal beats. Beyond Wednesday, LUZ also offers daily social hours and late-night drinks promotions, making it a useful option for travellers looking for a rooftop spot that works as well for pre-dinner drinks as for a full evening out.
