Marriott Bonvoy expands luxurious pet-friendly options across Thailand for city, beach, and mountain escapes

Marriott Bonvoy broadens its range of pet-friendly stays in Thailand, offering travellers the chance to bring their dogs and cats to city centres, beach resorts, and hill-country retreats with tailored amenities and longer-term options.

Marriott Bonvoy is widening the choice of pet-friendly stays across Thailand, with hotels and resorts in Bangkok, Pattaya, Koh Samui, Rayong and Chiang Rai offering packages aimed at travellers who want to bring dogs or cats along rather than leave them behind. According to Marriott’s Thailand listings, the details vary by property, but the common thread is a more comfortable stay for pets, with guests advised to check each hotel’s policy, fees and pet allowances before booking.

In Bangkok, the best-known options include The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok, W Bangkok and Moxy Bangkok Ratchaprasong. Marriott says these properties offer touches such as organic pet food, pet beds, bowls and, at some hotels, access to outdoor terrace space. For city breaks, that makes it easier for travellers to stay central without having to compromise on their pet’s comfort.

For longer trips, Marriott Executive Apartments is also promoting monthly stays in the capital for pets and their owners. The offer is available at several Bangkok properties, including Sukhumvit 50, Sukhumvit 101 and Sathorn Vista, with one townhouse property charging a higher per-pet rate. The appeal here is practical: apartment-style accommodation can suit visitors planning an extended city stay, especially if they want more room and a more home-like setup.

The beach and island options are more suited to travellers looking for a resort-style escape. Marriott says W Koh Samui welcomes pets with its P.A.W. package, while Rayong Marriott Resort & Spa and Renaissance Pattaya Resort & Spa are also offering pet-friendly stays with items such as pet beds, bowls, blankets and other welcome amenities. For holidaymakers heading out of Bangkok, that means the possibility of a coastal break without leaving a pet at home.

Further north, Le Méridien Chiang Rai Resort is tailoring its pet offering to guests who want a more outdoorsy escape. Marriott says the property provides essentials including a dog bed, bowls, toys, treats and a guide to local dog-friendly outdoor spaces, alongside pet-focused dining touches. For travellers choosing where to stay in Thailand, the broader picture is clear: Marriott Bonvoy is making it easier to plan everything from a Bangkok stopover to a beach holiday or a hill-country retreat with a pet in tow.
