Bari Bari Grand has arrived at The Capitol Kempinski with a sharper, more polished take on the Hong Kong teppan steak concept, and it is opening with limited-time deals that make it easier to try. According to Confirm Good, the restaurant is offering 30% off its Miyazaki Wagyu Teppan, alongside 1-for-1 deals on selected steak, hamburg and combo teppans from 1 to 5 September 2026. The outlet sits at Arcade @ The Capitol Kempinski, giving diners a central city location and a more upscale setting than a typical casual steakhouse.

The draw here is teppan dining built around premium cuts and a generous spread of sides. Confirm Good described the Miyazaki Wagyu Teppan as extremely tender, with a rich finish and a proper sear, served with roasted Brussels sprouts, charred corn, cherry tomatoes and truffle mashed potatoes. The menu also includes seafood-led dishes such as Gindara Teriyaki & Scallops, while MSGT said the wider selection at this flagship-style opening includes Lobster Thermidor and Lobster & Wagyu Hamburg, signalling a more ambitious menu than the brand’s earlier, simpler teppan format.

What may appeal most to travellers and casual diners is the value built into the meal. Every teppan order comes with a free-flow gourmet bar, and the restaurant says that includes salads, appetisers, sauces and hot dishes such as takoyaki, tater tots, rice, mushroom spaghetti and Japanese curry. There is also a dessert station, with Confirm Good highlighting tofu cheesecake as a standout. That mix makes Bari Bari Grand feel less like a single-dish steak stop and more like a full meal with enough variety for groups, couples and anyone who wants steak alongside plenty of side options.

The drinks list adds another reason to linger. Confirm Good noted a promotional glass price for Rothbury Estate Shiraz-Cabernet, while other coverage of the opening said the venue also offers sake and wine, plus an alfresco area for a more relaxed meal.
