CentralWorld hosts a colourful B.Duck-themed inflatable event backed by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, offering a new centralised family entertainment option amid the city's tourism boost.
Bangkok’s centralwOrld is hosting a new family-focused draw this month as the Tourism Authority of Thailand backs "B.Duck Playful 20th – Glow In The Duck", a character-led event running from 24 August to 20 September 2026. The attraction brings together TAT mascots Nong Sukjai and Nong Rak Yim with B.Duck’s anniversary celebrations, reinforcing the city’s growing appeal for visitors looking for easy, centrally located entertainment rather than a museum or market stop. According to TAT and event listings, the programme is aimed at both Thai and overseas travellers.
The main pull is the scale: organisers say the event pairs Thailand’s first Giant Air Dome Inflatable Playland with a 12-metre B.Duck inflatable, turning the outdoor plaza at CentralWorld into a bright, highly visible play space. The setup is designed for families and mixed-age groups, with slides, obstacle courses, climbing areas and bouncing zones, alongside a second giant duck installation that doubles as a photo spot.
Beyond the inflatables, the carnival element adds more conventional crowd-pleasers. Visitors can expect game booths, a pop-up B.Duck shop, limited-edition merchandise and themed treats including B.Duck ice cream, while the evening format shifts the site into a light-and-music experience after dark. Event listings note that the attraction is open daily from 2pm to 10pm, although on 24 August it opened later, from 4pm to 10pm. Regular admission is 250 baht and includes a 30-minute inflatable session and anti-slip socks, while a 888-baht deluxe package adds longer play time and extra souvenirs.
For travellers, the appeal is straightforward: it is an indoor-outdoor Bangkok stop that works in hot or rainy weather, sits in one of the city’s easiest shopping and transport areas, and offers a short, contained activity rather than a full-day outing. TAT says the collaboration fits its push towards value-led tourism and more creative reasons to spend time in Bangkok, following a B.Duck carnival in 2025 that drew more than 110,000 visitors.
